  • All employees with e-mail address.  Click on the envelope.
  • Happy to add anyone who may be missing.  Bios about teachers come from them.

• We will use it - look around it for information that you need.

Canvas

• Settings
  • Add your @granitesd.org e-mail (don't add a personal e-mail). Keep school related stuff at school and your personal life separate.  Please then check your e-mail and CONFIRM.
  • Add a phone number for texts. No, teachers wont have your phone number.  They do not want it!
  • Do NOT add your parents e-mail.  They have their own account and can do the same thing you are doing.
  • Web Services
    Google HAS to be allowed or Canvas will not find your files.
• Notifications
  • Announcements! Grading. Assignments.  I suggesting getting a text.  But the e-mails will give you more details.
  • You can always change these notifications.
  • Inbox = Conversations = "E-mail". 
    You (students and teachers) I suggest NOT getting the e-mail notification.  I DO suggest checking your Canvas INbox often. You'll be getting the message twice if you do this.
    (However, as a parent I DO want the e-mail as I do not often log in to Canvas as a parent.)
• Calendar
  • Shows ALL your classes.  You have a personal calendar too and can invite people to things.
  • Check the boxes to highlight (or display) them.
• Inbox (in notifications these are "Conversations")
  • Communicate with your teachers here.  Keep school stuff in Canvas.
  • Use this to communicate with teachers about class.
  • Send messages to classmates and parents as well.

Grade book

• Change your grade book e-mail to @granitesd.org 
  NOT @graniteschools.org
• Don't use a personal one e-mail - Keep your personal and school lives separate.
• Please feel free to e-mail your teachers through Grade book. 
• When they respond it will go to the e-mail you have provided IN gradebook.

Google Drive ([email protected])

• Use this Links page Don't just close it.
• Don't "Google" Google! Click on it!
• Use the Waffle to get to Drive to see ALL your files
• ​Check your e-mail!
• Teachers will all use this a little differently.
• If you ever "Do not have Access"  You are probably NOT logged in with your @granitesd.org account
• You CAN log in with two different accounts at the same time.
• Google Drive and Chrome are separate things. More info here

Office 365 ([email protected] or 9#@graniteschools.org)

• Go through the portal (Use the Links page) www.office.com
• Log in with your student#@graniteschools.org and your password.
• Outlook = e-mail
• All office products (Word, PowerPoint...) are on-line and accessible on your Chromebooks too.
• Teams - Some teachers may use it.
• Check out All Apps.  There is a lot here. Explore later!

Adobe

• Watch this video on your own time.  
• Please only use it if you need it!  Photography class or graphics class, or know what you are doing.
• I do not know how it will work on a Chromebook

Destiny

• Click here for instructions on how to Log in. And why you should.
• Click on My Info. 
• See what you have checked out. (Check your barcodes - You must return the items that are checked out to you)
• Fines will follow you - you may have some from other schools.  As a senior you will not "walk" if you have fines.
• Search for a book, place holds, delivered to your 2A class or come and get it.

Sora

• Works easier and better on your phone!
• Get your phone out and Download Sora.
• Use code graniteut to find Granite Schools.
• Log in with your AD credentials
