It's a cool, easy to use site for making graphics!  It offers a variety of sizes, styles and templates for popular "places".  Or you can create your from scratch. It will also work on a variety of devices. iOS | Chrome

Create an Account

  • Log in with Google  (IF you're a senior you may want to NOT use your school account... later).
  • Click "Create a Design"
  • Scroll Down to "Marketing"
  • Chose Poster (US) it says "Back to Basic"
    Mouse over it and be sure it is the 18x24 size.
  • *Yes, there are other options. BUT make this poster for today.
  • As you get started you do NEED TO use FILE > SAVE!
    Do not just close tabs or you will loose your work.

Get Started

The buttons on the left are pretty straight forward. You may not need to add other items you can just edit what is on your theme!  Some of the items only come with a purchased account.
  • Search - Search for items to add.  Don
  • Layout. - Gives the General idea of what your poster will look like
  • Elements - Add stuff.  (It will go on top of what is there already.)
  • Text - You guessed it!  Cool options here.
  • Backgrounds - are for the whole document.
  • Uploads - upload your picture and use it over your background.

Turn it in for a "Grade"

To turn it in... To print and Vote

  • ​Click on "Share".
  • Chose Link
  • Make sure the Dropdown says "Can View"
  • Copy the link.  Turn it in via Canvas

AND / OR
​Depending on teacher!

  • On the top right
  • click "Download"
  • Save it as ".pdf.- Print" with the file name of YOUR Computer number (01-40?)
  • Save it to the Google Drive folder as instructed in Canvas. 
  • Look at all the posters and Vote.  Link is in the Canvas course.

Sign Out.

Enjoy

  • Click the Canva Logo on top left
  • Click your name
  • ​Click Sign Out.
