Setting up for PTC RemoteStyle!

 - Zoom First  https://zoom.us/
  1. Go to Zoom.us Sign in with YOUR @graniteschools.org account. Please use the website - If you use the app as you will NOT have all the options. 
  2. Be sure to use. "your name - Spring Conference" for the title.  ("Smith's" add first name!)
  3. Chose the correct FIRST date and time (Make sure it is PM)
  4. Duration 3 hours.
  5. Check the box for "Recurring Event"
  6. In the "End Date" select "After 2 Occurrences"
  7. Check the box for "Passcode" and type in "titansrock"
  8. Check the box for "Waiting room"
  9. Video.  Host and Participant.  Click the "On" button.  You can always turn it off in the meeting.
  10. Audio - Both
  11. Meeting Options.  Leave all unchecked.
  12. Save!
  13. Invite Link. Right click on it. "Copy Link Address"  If your url does not not have a "https://graniteschools-org.zoom.us" in it you must send me an e-mail so we can upgrade your account. Your "https://uetn-org.zoom.us/" accounts will be expiring soon. 
  14. Settings? Should all be set still.  Detail soon as I find them again.

  1. Send the office your link on this form - https://forms.gle/xtu9RtTL5oYQC8gK9  If you need to resend the correct... please do.  I will only be showing parents the "https://graniteschools-org.zoom.us"

- Canyon Creek
  1. Log in to The Portal and find Canyon Creek (search for it?)
  2. At the top left click "Teacher"
  3. Log in to Canyon Creek (I do not know passwords)
  4. Top middle click "Update Teacher Info"
    Fill in your information...
  5. Grade 9-12 is now an option
  6. Room Number - Chose "Virtual Conference" and paste your zoom link in the room number box.  If you need to resend the correct link... please do BEFORE MONDAY.  Parents will be signing up Tuesday!
  7. Click Change info.​
    (There are other boxes but you do not need instructions on your name! ;))
  8. Chose your blocked out times.  Click the boxes and follow prompts.

The admin will direct the parents on how to sign up for conference slots and provide the "titansrock" password.  You are also more than welcome to, and encouraged to put it in your Canvas course.

ON PTC night be sure to USE the Canyon Creek sign up sheet for a few reasons:
  • Parents will get your zoom link in an e-mail from Canyon Creek.
  • Respect to parents who follow the instructions?
  • Keep out Zoom Bombers.  If they are NOT on your list... Who are they?
